Valdecarrian Mithology

In the small village of Valdecarros, located in the province of Salamanca, Spain, an astonishing secret has been revealed. In a place called Arenal, where the construction of a bull ring was being carried out, some old scripts were found. The translation of these scripts, completed by the most prestigious philologists of the world specialized in ancient languages, had uncovered a totally different vision of the history of the world.

According to these scripts Valdecarros was created by God before He created the world and Valdecarrians were created before Human kind. During billions and billions of years the world was inhabited only by Valdecarrians and Valdecarros was the only town. Actually all the world was Valdecarros.

The purpose of this site is to spread these revelations to the whole world and share the knowledge contained in the scripts recently translated and presented here. These scripts are known as Arenal scripts for this is the name of the place were they were found.

Arenal scripts

First Book: God creates Valdecarros and Valdecarrians

In the first day created God the village pub. And the night came. And in the middle of the night got God bored, and created He wine, and beer, and aguardiente and honey orujo. And drank God and enjoyed. He had not created the Valdecarrians that day but he was thinking of creating them the morrow. And for this reason called He that day the eve. And so it is still called. And saw God what He had created and He saw it was good. And went He to bed.

In the second day woke God late, for as He had not created livestock and land, there was no need to get up earlier. And He felt his stomach was sour for He had drunk a little bit too much the eve and not eaten. And He found it was bad to drink with an empty stomach, and created He the tapas. And in the afternoon created He the Valdecarrian card deck, which later would be known as the Spanish card deck, and created He the coffee as well. But He had no one to play with, and then created He the Valdecarrians. The first Valdecarrrian was named Roque. And Roque told God: I feel so lonely. Mayest thou, o Lord, create a woman for me. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Roque and took his penis. And made He a woman. And the woman was Roque’s Lady. And Roque thought: I had a penis but I had no women and now that I have a woman, have I no penis. Well, God wanted so. And went Roque to the village pub and played cards with God. And they bet upon their coffee. And God lost. And He had to buy Roque his coffee. And that evening said God to Roque: I will name this day after you. But Roque’s wife, who had heard every word, appeared and said: You two have been playing and having fun the whole afternoon whilst I was alone. And now you want to name this day after my husband instead of me. And then God named that day after Roque’s wife. And the day was called our Lady’s day. And it is still so called. And went God to bed.
